WORLD'S LARGEST PITCHFORK

WORLD’S LARGEST PITCHFORK

Dig into Casey’s agricultural roots with the World’s Largest Pitchfork! This enormous farm implement, measuring an incredible 61 feet long and weighing nearly 2,000 pounds, stands proudly as a monumental welcome to Richards Farm Restaurant.

Jim Bolin and his crew started on the Pitchfork in 2014. With this project, Jim had no previous record to beat. When a World’s Largest is the first of its kind, the record book requires you to make an item 10 times larger than the typical sized model. The Pitchfork handle is made of reclaimed Western Red Cedar and the metal portion was created primarily from parts of old streetlight illuminator arms. The Pitchfork received the title of “World’s Largest” on October 20, 2015.

Its gleaming tines reach towards the sky, a striking silhouette against the Illinois landscape. The pitchfork is a powerful symbol of the hard work and dedication of farmers in the region, scaled up to Casey’s signature grandiosity. It’s a fantastic photo opportunity that truly captures the town’s unique blend of rural heritage and larger-than-life attractions.

Tip: Perfectly situated at Richards Farm Restaurant, making it a great excuse to stop for a delicious, locally meal after snapping your photos.
